Hebe, Turkish spindle

Description

The Turkish spindle model “Hebe” is designed by Studio Spintol and named after the Greek goddess of youth because this is the baby in the collection. It’s cross is 6,5 cm and fits in the tiniest tins. Perfect to bring with you on long journeys!

Hebe is only available in 1 size (size 0). This spindle weighs between 6 and 8 grams depending on the type of wood and is designed for the thinnest yarns like cobweb and lace. Do you want a bigger or heavier spindle? Please take a look at the other models like Aphrodite, Artemis or Athena.

Are you just starting to spin on a spindle and you don’t know which one to choose? It might help to figure out what kind of yarn you want to be able to spin on your new spindle. The different models all spin alike, so choosing between models is a matter of personal taste!

Still really clueless? Then we would like to advise you to pick a spindle with a weight of approximately 25 grams. It’s the most versatile weight class and the easiest spindle to start with.

Turkish spindles in sizes 0, 1 and 2 will be delivered in a hand picked recycled beautiful tin. The other sizes will be delivered in a playful, chirpy and of course recycled and therefore sustainable casing.
