When the world feels too loud, spinning is how I clear my head. I design my spindles with that focus in mind. They are perfectly balanced, so the tool does the work for you. Handcrafted in my studio, exactly the way I like to use them myself.
My story
I was a spinner for years before I started making my own spindles. I use that experience in every design; I know exactly how a spindle should feel and what it should do when you make your yarn. In my studio, I’m free to work with wood and just try out new ideas.
It’s where I feel at home. Despite my PTSD, this is where I find the calm to create. My service dog Pippa is always there too, right by my side while I work. But Studio Spintol is more than just my workbench. It’s about sharing that joy; through the spindles, the courses, and the people who help me keep things running.
