Always wanted to learn to spin? It’s easier than you think!

In three quarters of an hour we’ll give you a taste of spinning on a Turkish spindle. That’s just long enough to get started after a brief instruction, make your first thread and… let you discover that spinning is insanely fun!

Spinning on a spindle is much simpler than many people think. In fact, it is much easier to master than learning to spin on a spinning wheel. During the workshop we chop the spinning proces into pieces so you only have to focus on one thing at a time. Nice and clear!

There are different models and sizes of Turkish spindles waiting for you in all weight classes, because just as it makes a difference which needle you use when knitting and crocheting, when spinning you create a different kind of thread with each weight of spindles. It is possible to try out several spindles and together we’ll find out what suits you well. After the workshop, it is possible to purchase a spindle and take it home right away.

There is a maximum group size of 6 people per spin tasting. In presale (through Sept. 6), a limited number of places per spin tasting can be booked at a discount. The remaining places can only be booked on the day itself at our booth.

Cost: in presale (until September 6) €17.50 per person, thereafter €20 (only at our booth).

Of course, conviviality and the use of spinning fibers and loaner spindles to use during the workshop is included. See you then!
