Description

The yew spindles in this collection are all size 2 (approx. 14–21 grams) and spin light, stable, and true — just as you’d expect from a spindle in our collection. But each model has its own personality and balance — and each one brings something different to the spinning experience.

Here’s a quick overview of the three models:

Aphrodite, smooth & controlled

This model has a balanced shape with a gentle center focus. It spins evenly, calmly, and precisely. A great match if you like a sense of control, or if you’re still finding your rhythm as a spinner.

Artemis, strength & momentum

Artemis has a slight shift in weight toward the center. This gives her more power and lasting spin — ideal for spinning thicker yarns or for plying. She feels strong and grounded, but never heavy.

Athena, lightness & perseverance

Athena has an evenly distributed weight and slim arms. She keeps spinning longer than you might expect, even at a lighter weight. She’s subtle, elegant, and steady — perfect for fine yarns or meditative spinning sessions.
