This bundle includes three 25-gram Corriedale braids, specially selected for the Spring Spinning Set. Two of them are roving – softly carded fibers with a slightly more open structure, airy and inviting if you feel like spinning a little less tightly. The third is top – neatly combed fiber with a smooth, parallel layout, ideal for more control and definition in your yarn.
Corriedale is a lovely fiber for beginners: slightly grippier than merino, with just enough structure to make drafting smooth and steady. With a staple length of 8–12 cm, it’s easy to pull without the yarn breaking. That makes it perfect for trying new techniques, refining your draw, or simply spinning at your own rhythm.
Whether you stick with a short forward draw or start gently playing with more air in your yarn, this mix of roving and top helps you feel the difference fiber preparation can make – no complicated techniques required.
