Description

This unique Kindred Spindle, an Aphrodite in size 2, is crafted from two different woods: the wide arm is made from warm cherry wood, and the slim arm from dark mansonia.
The contrast between them is subtle when still, yet beautifully visible when the spindle spins. You will receive exactly the spindle shown in the photo.

About Aphrodite size 2

Aphrodite is known for her balanced design and excellent control. She spins smooth, stable, and evenly.
In size 2 (around 13–16 grams), she’s a true all-rounder — ideal for laceweight to DK yarns, and perfect for spinners who enjoy rhythm, calmness, and control in their drafting.

She pairs well with both short and medium staple fibers, and works beautifully with Corriedale, BFL, or soft blends.
