Wood and finish

This spindle is made from European olive ash, which is ash wood with dramatic grain patterns in the heartwood. The pink shaft is hand-dyed and sealed with hardwax oil to ensure it won’t stain your fiber.

Use and weight

At around 25–30 grams, this size 3 spindle is light enough for fine yarns, but strong and steady enough to handle textured art yarn too. So whether you’re spinning from a silky batt or adding sparkle and structure, this spindle will keep up with you.
