Spinning Experience
The great thing about a batt is its versatility. You can strip it lengthwise if you want more control over the colors, or spin it ‘from the fold’ for a lofty art yarn. The mix of different materials naturally gives your thread depth and a lovely sheen without much extra effort.
Which spindle suits this fiber?
For these full batts, a size 3 or 4 Turkish spindle is your best bet. They have the necessary space and weight to incorporate the batt’s texture smoothly into your yarn.

Washing: Always hand-wash your finished yarn or projects. Since these contain untreated natural fibers, they will felt in the washing machine. Hand-washing keeps them looking their best.
