What’s in the kit?
This kit contains the exact proportions (45 grams total) for 1 to 2 sessions on your blending board or drum carder:
- Base: 25g Fake Cashmere for ultimate softness.
- The Nest: 10g Mohair and 5g Mulberry Silk for necessary length and grip.
- Accent: 5g Cotton for extra texture.
The Technique
Utilize the length of the mohair and silk by applying them at various angles. This allows the fibers to interlock, preventing your blend from falling apart during spinning.

Want to make this blend a bit easier?
Are you worried this might still be too challenging? Simply replace part of the fake cashmere with sheep fibers. Try Merino with slubs, for example; it provides more grip while your mix still feels incredibly luxurious thanks to the silk slubs.
