Features of the Aphrodite Model

The Aphrodite has a well-balanced weight distribution with minimal shift toward the center. This design ensures a smooth, stable, and even spin.

The Shaft and Finishing

The shafts of my spindles feature a slight bulge near the tip, making it easy to secure your single. They are made from walnut or hickory wood. Hickory is an exceptionally strong wood, making spindles with hickory shafts highly durable.

Each spindle is finished with a durable hardwax oil. This treatment preserves the natural look of the wood, gives it a soft, warm sheen, and offers excellent protection.

Quality and Shipping

The spindle you receive will be similar to the ones shown in the photos. Before shipping, I carefully check the quality of every spindle.

Turkish spindles in sizes 1 and 2 are always shipped in a fitting, charming, vintage, old, and – most importantly – recycled tin.
